Burkina Faso/“it is a fighting government that has been formed”, says Me Apollinaire Kyélem

The members of the new Transition government led by Apollinaire Kyélem met on October 26, 2022, to make contact. Already, the Prime Minister has dotted the “i”s by declaring that the government is not the one for the gala dinner.

All the 23 ministers appointed on October 25, 2022 by decree met on October 26 with Prime Minister Apollinaire Kyélem and Head of State Ibrahim Traoré.

Appointed last October 21, the Prime Minister, Me Apollinaire Kyélem made a point of specifying to the ministers in these terms: “it is a government of combat which was formed. This is not a gala dinner government”.

The head of government revealed the three main objectives of his team. According to him, it is about securing the national territory, improving the quality of life of Burkinabè people and improving governance. He invited Burkinabè patriots to adhere to these three points.
