Four people were found dead executed on October 17, 2022 in Larabin, a village located about 05 kilometers from the town of Mangodara, in the Cascades region, learned the Burkina Information Agency (AIB) from local sources.
The four people had gone to the field to harvest corn. “Faced with their prolonged absence, the populations alerted the Mangodara detachment, which organized a search,” informs the Agency, citing local sources.
Their dead bodies were found. A fifth person who was with her is still missing.
Several villages in the commune of Mangodara are under terrorist threat, forcing many people into massive internal displacement towards more secure localities.
Last July, unidentified armed men led a deadly incursion into the village of Madiasso about thirty kilometers from the town of Mangodara. At least five people were killed in this attack.
